Welcome little Elijah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At 2:18 pm local time, Nathan Elijah Cole was born in Udon Thani, Thailand!! 

Labor was fast, starting around 11am, and Elijah (who goes by his middle name) was born 3 hrs 18 minutes later. Mom, dad, and Elijah are all doing well, and Eva will be meeting her new brother tomorrow. :)

Eva is now back in Laos with grandma and grandpa cole since the baby didn't come last week, while nathan and i are waiting here in Thailand for the little guy to arrive. Today's the official due date, so we're hoping he comes sometime soon, but meanwhile i'm missing Eva like crazy. She just left today but i think it's the thought of her not even being in thailand. Thankfully i know she's happy w/ grandma and grandpa so no worries there! :) Anyhow, i went through some of the pictures we've taken recently of the little girl and here are a few that make me smile!

Here in Thailand

We're currently in Thailand, waiting just across the border for the birth of our little boy! Eva's soon to have a little brother in the flesh!! I wonder what she'll think. We can hardly wait to see him, though he's not due for another 12 days. We've hardly touched our baby stroller since we arrived back in Asia, but now Eva's putting it to good use as we are trying to walk everywhere to get lots of good exercise and if possible, get this labor going! 

Eva was in a daze when I took this picture today... she was waiting for lunch (eggs and rice) and being unusually quiet as she waited. Below, she's playing with toys (actually, that looks like the trash can in her hand) in the room we're renting at the hospital.
