Our House in Northern Laos
The little, brown roof nestled in the trees at the far end of the rice field is our home. It is built on stilts, but the rice is so high the stilts cannot be seen.
The kids had great fun tromping home from visiting a sick lady in the village.
The mountain behind our house is Toe Mountain.

The Bridge

| So, today, the kids saw a old suspension bridge pretty high over a green river. |

| Don't be ridiculous, Mom would never let this happen. Fact is she nearly had a heart attack when she saw these pictures too. |

| This is the bridge our van recently crossed several times on a work trip. On the third pass, the bridge broke, and the car fell part way through. Its tough out there. |
