 Zach wearing Eva's slippers... it is WAY TOO HOT to be wearing these, but I guess the little guy seems happy enough. :)

 Yay for Aunt Elena! We missed you!!

 Books, books, books. So glad for books. Elijah likes to read on his bed, which you see here is actually quite roomy even though it's on the floor. It's one of his favorite places.

 Our friend came by over lunch, and I see here that the boys are watching as the girls make bracelets. That's about right for Elijah, watching and holding his truck. You don't see Elijah that often without a truck or vehicle in hand.

Eva's been putting hair clips in her own hair for a while now, but this morning, she showed me how she'd done her own hair with a hair barrette. Oh the quick pain that shot through me as I looked at her... she's growing up so fast. She can do her own hair now, and she even taught herself. This is one of those bittersweet moments... so here's my picture to document Eva's first hairdo with a barrette.

 Elijah could eat bananas all day long, which is great because our yard is full of banana trees!

We accidentally knocked this tree over, but now the kids can grab bananas for snacking.

Usually our neighbors and friends come and eat most of the mangos on our trees, but the ones they can't reach are left for us. This one fell from the top of the tree after a rain storm.
