The Countdown Begins

In our 5th month of being in Indianapolis, the countdown till we leave for Oregon begins. Jan and Eva will fly the first week of July. Nathan will drive out the first of July. You may ask why Nathan would drive while Jan and Eva fly - the answer - SANITY. In our lifestyle of continual migration taking Eva thousand of miles across the states in the heat of summer for day after endless day of rolling wheat fields and dry gulches - Sanity my friend. Believe it.

new toy

We bought an exersaucer for 2 dollars and it's become great entertainment for Eva. She discovered the mirror on it, and her latest thing is staring at herself and trying to figure it all out.

My Perspective (eva)

Here I am with my Aunt Krista. I am very happy with Aunt Krista blur blah blah (translation unavailable)
This is my great grandpa. He is very wise and I am his progeny (I don't know how she knows that word!)

My Dad, who happens to be the greatest in the world, thought this pose would be fun because when I was first born, I fit neatly between his elbow and his hand.

Don't Look At Me Like That.

Mom says that I am the cutest kid in the world! I agree. ;)

Words

Many of you readers...the ones who are still left, often wonder secretly (you haven't told us, but we know anyway) why we never write words on our blog. The truth of the matter lies in an ancient proverb. "A picture is worth a thousand words." We know that you are thinking that is so cliche and a dumb answer to the deeper question so, just for kicks we will give you a deeper post this time.

I'm from Oregon, Jan from Indiana, both states that never get presidential hopefuls campaigning. This year is different. We heard Hillary was in town, and though we aren't Hillary fan's we decided to check her out, you know, for kicks. We plan on seeing Obama and McCain too, though they haven't been close enough to make it worth our while.

Back to Hillary...To be sure we were very skeptical at first but the more she talks, and she is a good talker, the more enraptured we became. Hillary said she can fix the economy, fix the war, fix all social ills, and even fix the neighbors cat. Hillary can do all things. Its amazing. Both Jan and I are totally into Hillary now. Go Hillary Go!

Ok, the above isn't true (being enraptured with Hillary), But we really did go and here is the picture to prove it.

Ciao
