Daily goodness
Most days at our house, the kids and I just love when lunchtime rolls around. This is because we get to read together as we picnic in the Sala. It's the best, it really is. They swing in the hammocks, and I read aloud for an hour or so from the book of our choice. Then they beg me to read more and sometimes we do because it's just a really great book, and other times we stop there and get going again with other things. This day was cold as storms blew across Vietnam in our direction, but usually we're headed out here looking for a breeze and break from hot weather. Even when the air around the rest of the house is hot and still, there's often a breeze rolling through the Sala from nearby mountains.
Friends are great
Elijah didn't make our friends' Valentine's Day party, so our friends brought the party to him with a special Elijah cookie and crafts! Woo hoo!

The Sala once again
When Elijah came down with fevers and vomiting, he missed out on our friends' Valentine's Day party. When he missed out on the party, Mom and Dad missed their dinner night out. When Mom and Dad missed their dinner night out, thanks to Nathan and his gift of transforming a situation, they ended up at the best restaurant of all! Once again the backyard Sala transformed itself, this time into a the
perfect Valentine's Day restaurant, complete with a beautiful view and
perfect evening breeze. Well, maybe it was a little cold, but still sweeter than all our little town has to offer.
