Apparently it is 11 hours from Indianapolis, Indiana to Norfolk, Nebraska. It took us 14hrs. The last hour Eva decided she had had enough fun and screamed the rest of the way! That last hour was spent in the darkness of night. Along the way, we very narrowly missed killing a deer - Thanks to Jan who saw the deer and screamed sweetly. And thanks to God for sparing us.
During this hour Eva kept farting with horrid results. Eventually we decided to change her diaper, so we pulled over. However, as soon as we stepped out of the car, to reach the back-side door we realized that Eva wasn't to blame. We were driving through Cow Country!
We spent two days in Norfolk with one of Jan's friends, and then headed on to Colorado. Since the 24th we have been in Colorado at the O candidate course. It has been good though exhausting. Next week Jan is doing her PA training, also here in Colorado.
From there we will complete our road trip and return to Indiana.
Blessings on you all!

You'll have to tell the cow story to Eva when she's older - she'll love knowing she was mistaken for cow smell :-) We miss you guys, come home safely!
