downstairs- "in process"

The clutter has been cleaned out, and this random brick wall has also come down. We haven't figured out what we're doing with this boarded-up window yet. The boards are for safety, which is important being on the first floor. We'll probably replace with metal bars.

This picture is the best! This looks like one of those rooms with mirrors that distort, causing people to look like giants in small rooms. In actuality, the ceiling is actually quite low, and while Nathan kneels on this bed to paint, his head almost hits the ceiling. Standing, he has to duck his head under the beam he's painting.

The landlord is leaving this bed frame for our use, and it's now been moved upstairs where it belongs. Painting has begun!

The plan is for this downstairs area to become the kitchen, a very simple kitchen. The rest of it will be an area for the kids to play. More pics to come!

When did you guys move? Your other home had such fun outdoor areas - with that outdoor hut thing where the kids always read books and random cows coming into your yard!

Hi Amy! Moving this week, in the thick of it right now. We've moved to a house that is smaller inside but larger outside. I think the kids will love it, once we've done some work on it. Cows still here in this yard too, ha!
